I built mine from aluminum angle and a half sheet of aluminum from a box store for my 2 door. It held up 5 bags of salt no problem.

Who doesn’t?

Most of our HMMWVs in the Army had 4 doors, too. They replaced the 2 door M151 MUTTs we had when I first got in (strangely, Ford made the MUTTs).

Back to the topic at hand, this shelf looks like it would keep stuff in the cargo area secured down so it’s not bouncing all over the inside during a steep rocky descent, as well as providing additional capacity up top for strapped down goodies, so neat!

Our brackets mount to the soft top's OEM cage hole locations.

I want one of these for this purpose alone for the 2 door! I built one with 1x1 frame with two individual pieces of plywood that I have to build/unbuild in place but an aluminum one would fit the bill!

Have you guys considered making these adjustable in height? Seems like your existing bracket could just drill a few more sets of holes and it would work. May need to run flat head socket caps like you have on the roll bar attachment.

I guess it would depend if you had room to install the side brackets to the shelf first, then slide in the entire unit and mount.

Really like this product, just would feel better if it had some adjustability.
