Removable hard top Vs. Modular hard top

It doesn't sound like it's going to be a huge difference from the way Jeep does it. You've got the donut and Ford may be adding the ability to remove one or more of the back windows. Jeep allows the removal of the rear side windows on their Sky One Touch top. I'd like that top more if the rear window could be removed too.

The challenge for owners with removing everything is putting it all somewhere.

That’s a $3000 option and the top no longer can come completely off the vehicle. The pic is as far as it comes apart. I think it’s cool BUT expensive and hides the roll bars. Just adding some details.

I agree completely, it's pretty expensive. A year or so ago I kicked around the idea of upgrading my '16 JKU so I could get that but once I saw the price tag I decide to add the Bestop Sunrider for hard top. Since there was talk of something similar to that Bestop for the Bronco I think that is my ideal scenario now. The big question is would something like that, if available, work with a roof rack on the Bronco.

pulled this from another thread. starting at 1:40, it shows two panels and the clamshell.
Yikes, rear seat was not folded flat, was this because passenger seat was adjusted so far back? Also looks like a pull loop for underfloor storage behind the seat.

That would be my guess but I'm sure we'll find out more in the future.

Just because it was a walk around video ....very informative. Ford certainly likes it’s flat, shiny plastic....the dash to me, looked cheap, dirty and scratched. Not a fan of it, thus far.

I will have to see it in person. I’m not into the removable top....so hopefully there is a more substantial version. I’m a Ford fan....too bad there isn’t a Bronco sport XL for me!

Those weren't production finishes, which have textures to them.

I've seen video of someone opening it... it's the lug wrench and jack, and a small skinny spot... enough for a pair of gloves.

Let me see if I can find it and screen cap...

::EDIT::

For the back top section (“clamshell”), there are these from the Jeep world. I am guessing they will adapt versions for Broncos:

Not a bad solution. $750 (RollnJack) for something that quick and easy. I installed a hoist system based off a storage rack I got on Amazon for my JKU. It was cheaper but no where near as convenient and installation took some time.

I don't remember.... Did this have the roll out tailgate bench?

This one does not. I have not actually seen that on a 2d.
