Remote the microphone for a Cobra 75 All Road

Anyone install and add an extension to the microphone on the Cobra 75 All Road? Please share details.

I am about to install, but Cobra doesn’t make an extension. Standard USB extension cables should work, but they lack the locking collar that Cobra has.

I have 75WXST. It has a 3.5mm jack in the plug unit. There should be a jack in the base unit.

Curious if you were able to find a sealed USB extension for your Cobra 75 All Road mic?

I have the body mounted under the driver seat, if I plug the mic into a USB port on my dash, it always gets in the way.

Otherwise I love the Cobra 75 All Road.

Not sure I understand your issue. Just plugging in the mic into any usb port will not work

The Cobra 75 All Road mic has Bluetooth.

Plug the mic into any USB port so it has power.

I just want to plug the mic into the transmitter USB-A port so it is out of the way. The transmitter is mounted under my driver seat.

A normal USB-A extension cable can be used but it won’t be waterproof, and may come loose.
