Has anyone attempted to cut, trim, modify the rear underfloor cubby cover? If yes, how did it behave when cut? What tools did you use? Any tips?

I’m planning to add some drawers to my 2Door, with a seat delete, and may retain the OEM cubby cover to ensure that debris does not accumulate in the Jack cubby & under the trim at the rear of the tub. I may sacrifice the Jack cubby but retain access to the larger underfloor cubby when the drawer is fully extended.

All is TBD, but drawers are coming soon from ADGU so any advice would be welcome.

Little unclear. ABS plastic. Score with razor and snap it. Sharp saw blade. Not too high a speed. Dull or small tooth blades running fast just melt it.

I found a thread in B6G (forget who at the moment) where another member built a seat delete and trimmed his cubby hatch.

I trimmed mine with a jigsaw, no drama. It’s just more fiberboard (cardboard) filled with foam.
