My truck that I still drive to work most days is a '91 Ranger with 330k+ miles . It's still running the original shocks and I never even slow down for the speed bumps in the parking lot ,lol.
I got a 2010 Chevy Silverado 2wd with original shocks. Took them in about 20k miles back and they were like, "why do you want to change them?" Nary a leak (🌳 🤛 knock on wood). Definitely hammered them more than once, including once in the deep woods that needed a realignment. Original brake pads too. 190k miles...

It sure looks like the remote reservoir is split open in the last pic...

23 Badlands SAS. Front passenger side coil over shock leaking. Looks like it’s been leaking for a bit due to the amount of oil on the frame members. IT HAS 4400 miles on it and no off road use yet.. I’m assuming it’s covered under warranty?

You "should" be covered under warranty. Especially at 4400 miles. Maybe @Ford Motor Company can help you.

All they told me in DM was I had a seat belt recall, and I should bring my Bronco in to have one of their highly qualified technicians look at my shock. But since it's out of warranty I'd have to pay.

So I just told them it was pathetic to have a bad shock already, their quality sucks, just like their warranty. I already ordered a new shock and will do the swap when I get it. Not going to waste my time paying $300 or more for some Ford guy to tell me, yeah the shock is bad, need a new one. 🙄

Add me to the list, came out from work with a small puddle directly under passenger side rear shock. Less than 20k miles. Pretty disappointing quality from Bilstein, a company I generally hold in high regard.

Same issue here. I've been really happy, and patient, with my Bronco overall. So far Ford has fixed things under warranty, which makes things inconvenient, but not intolerable. If I have to start spending a lot of money to start fixing things that shouldn't be broken I think it's going to be hard to stay so positive.

Pic below shows all the oil behind the reservoir guard.

Taking it to the dealer tomorrow so fingers crossed @Ford Motor Company and the dealer stand behind the product.

I’ve seen more than 1 remote reservoir completely fall off of the shock body. I believe its a bad connection that’s rusts and eventually deteriorates enough to leak then break/fall off

My driver-side rear blew out its oil at 48,000 kms - both rear shocks are getting replaced under warranty. When they blow up next time, I’ll go with aftermarket coilovers.

Hey @Ford Motor Company , I am curious, are the Sasquatch shocks supposed to only last 41k miles? I'm out of warranty and I have fluid leaking all over the parking lot. Curious as to what the deal is? More Ford Quality at it's finest?
Add me to the list also, except not squatched. Badlands with 30k miles - both rear shocks leaking and needing replacement. Luckily under warranty. No abuse at all on them.

Not surprising. There’s a recall for them

Really? ! Any chance you could post a link? I’ll google as well. Just surprised my dealer didn’t mention and I wasn’t mailed anything. Thanks
