The ceramic coating should have protected the paint, it's ceramic after all.Ah ha, to make you feel better, the handles are cheaper/easier to repair. My 4 doors and 2 rear fender flares got rock chipped BAD after just 2 weeks of driving to work (6km each way, dirt and gravel road, 12km total every weekday) And the OEM splash guard will not fit the badland due to rock rails. Trying to find a reasonably priced mud flaps now. Oh, forgot to mention that my Bronco's paint got ceramic coating done at the dealer.

Sorry, I can't help but laugh at the thousand-dollar wax jobs people pay for. Who would have thought all the Porsche guys that got laughed at for using Zaino just needed to add the word "ceramic" to their hydrophobic coatings to unlock all 47 levels down into peoples wallets.
