Rear Door Handles Getting Blasted By Rocks

I didn't know that...is the door larger? I assume it is not the fender...I just assumed a 4 dr front door and a 2 dr front door were the same part.

That's the reason you can't properly store the doors onboard on a 2 door.

I should have put a haha in the post. It didn’t seem necessary since those are the most hideous, clownish, comical items ever attached to a beautiful Bronco. But yes, mud flaps would be preferable to what is depicted in those two photos.

Ah ha, to make you feel better, the handles are cheaper/easier to repair. My 4 doors and 2 rear fender flares got rock chipped BAD after just 2 weeks of driving to work (6km each way, dirt and gravel road, 12km total every weekday) And the OEM splash guard will not fit the badland due to rock rails. Trying to find a reasonably priced mud flaps now. Oh, forgot to mention that my Bronco's paint got ceramic coating done at the dealer.

depends, if you want installation too you can add an other $680 to the cost....

I don't get it either, some vinyl, some rubber, some maybe metal or plastic, material cost maybe $10? If that? Personally I don't care if there's a Bronco on there or nothing, I just want the protection and keep my sides clean. I sure hope aftermarket will show up with something that fits my Badlands. I can't even bring myself to think that I'll use some of my free Ford points for this, not at $450 for two, I'd hesitate if it were for 4.
Somebody is making a pretty penny there, but not from me.

Good grief, I got Gatorbacks for my Aviator and they were only about $145 a pair. Very easy install.

My Bronco is always covered in dirt no matter what I do. I wash it every week, but as soon as I drive it down my road - covered in dirt or mud. I am going to use my fordpass points to get some mud flaps, I think. I finally broke down and got some on my truck and it cut down on the coating of dirt so much.

That’s unfortunate but seeing as ceramic coating has no protection qualities that’s not a surprise. If you were worried about you should have added PPF.

Good point. Being new to the mud scene here… I’ve got the 4wp running boards waiting on their Bronco. Does runningboards replace the need for mudflaps?
