Still learning a lot about suspensions so this may be way off base. I’m wondering if I would be able to combine Baja Kits Rear Bypass Mount and a Single Shock Mount Trailing Arm like this one from RuffStuff. My thought is I maybe able to mount the original coilover from the OEM upper shock mount to the trailing arm lower shock mount. Then connect a new bypass shock from the new Baja Kits upper shock mount to the OEM lower shock mount. I could then avoid adding another mount location the OEM lower shock mount for rocks to catch.

I’m sure this will affect the ride quality and will require some tuning and adjusting but this is just an idea I’m workshopping at this point so I’m very open to discussions. Thanks in advance for any information or advice.

That style mount will only work when the trailing arms are mounted outside of the frame. The bronco currently is mounted in line with the frame.

And this is why the APG kit goes to a wider Dana 60-need that extra room for mounting your suspension.

Are the trailing arm mounts actually placed outside the frame on the Dana 60? Hard to tell but doesn’t look like it. I guess they could be moved wider with a torch and a welder.

Don't think their trailing arm is outside of the frame, but they probably needed to go wider to have space for the new shock tower, 3.0 King's w/ reservoir, and bypass shocks.

Where I circled is the factory shock mount, so they bolt their bracket into the old coilover holes to make certain everything aligns properly and consistently. Pretty clever, actually. That might give a good idea of how much further outside the frame the new suspension is. If you look at your axle it just won’t be able to fit while keeping the shock mounts away from the lower links. I thought they had another system where the coils bolt to the trailing arms like a trophy truck but I might have made that up.
