Hey guys,

I'm a big enthusiast for Japanese wheels. I have always had Volk Te37's on my trucks. Super stoked Rays Engineering is doing 6x135 / Raptor spec offerings!

Here is a recent offering with their new line of Rays Offroad Wheels -

The 05X is designed to meet the essential 2600lbs load capacity and forged construction out of Japan.
Model: 05x
Spec: 17x8.5 -10
Color: Matte Gun Bronze

I did a set of 37x12.5r17 Toyo Open Country R/T Trails - Stock height with this setup.

I'd be interested in a set of forged Volk wheels in black should they release a set that's also hub-centric and flush with fenders on stock tires.

Made in Japan wheels rule!

Not to hijack the thread, but will they work on the non-raptor Bronco? Or do you have an option currently for those? I've been looking for a matte bronze option for my 2023 Outer Banks. Thanks!

They already have a non-Raptor fitment. Just go to the Rays website and you'll see the options available.

Volk has several options for the Bronco. Some cast, some forged:

I have the Gram Lights 57DR-X. They didn't have the forged 05X at the time.
The 57DR-X are fantastic. Great build quality. They aren't much more than the Chinese made cast wheels. They're also about 10lbs. lighter than the stock SAS wheels. I don't need bead locks so there was no reason to keep them. Plus, I like to look different from everyone else.

I had TE37-SL on my GTI. Super light and strong.

The end goal for the bronco is a set of Bronze TE37 in truck fitment…

Definitely not hijacking the thread, were still talking about broncos and rays wheels lol!

Just sent you a dm - but yes matte bronze 05x is available. There is a couple other wheels that can be ordered / had as well.

I know @Bronc69 posted a couple links below for a quick reference.

Great coverage of information! Yea, the 05x is a new offering under the Rays Offroad line. Definitely a cool offering and of course, cannot forget about the Gramlights product line.

My apologies -
The 17x8 +20 is not a hub centric set.

Why no 17x9? cant run a 13.5 wide tire on a 8,5" rim. Anyone that wants to run larger than a 37" tire shouldn't be using an 8.5" rim.

My wheels aren't hub centric and I have zero issues.
I even bought hub centric rings, but I can't use them with my center caps., but in the end, I don't need them.
