Ram Mounts anyone?

Has anyone used them in their car for a cell phone mount?

I had a cheap amazon one and the clamp broke. I was thinking on grabbing a RAM (jaw clamp or Handle bar U-bolt) I am uncertain on the U bolt.. Im pretty sure the clamp will be about the same. Thoughts?

I used the full RAM in my previous 4x4 using the X style holder and it worked very well in all kinds of crazy situations. I liked it a lot, but I’ve gone with a MagSafe mount in the Bronco.

Yah I use them in a few applications including on a motorcycle. They work fine but sometimes you have to make sure that it's not clamping on a button on the side of your phone

I am using one, x grip and the long arm attached to the center grab handle with a knockoff Amazon claw. Works well for me.

I have an Ram mount set-up that I just placed in my BRaptor so I can use my Samsung Galaxy ZFold 4 phone. I've been using it in my 2012 F150 with no problems during on-road use. No experience with off-roading using this system.

I used RAM for many years on my Harleys and Jeeps. Good stuff. But I'm not a huge fan of their X-Grip phone mount. I switched out to Bulletpoint when I had my Gladiator and have some pieces on order for the Bronco. Their phone mount is rock solid.

Which mounting option is ur phone?


I had a RAM for my motorcycle. Loved it. I saved the female cellphone holder from the amazon mount (magsafe) Id like to use the arm but I hate having exposed wires and stuff dangling. I could use the cup mount but where the heck am i suppose to put my bee....pepsi
