I used a heat gun to sofen the mud flap, pushed them against the steps until the looked right. It didnt take much.

I just installed the Hammer Built support last night. Driving today I noticed fewer rattles coming from the back, and the tailgate feels more solid.

I am using one, x grip and the long arm attached to the center grab handle with a knockoff Amazon claw. Works well for me.
