Radio static with a-pillar lights

When I turn on my a-pillar lights my radio goes static on every channel, anyone know what’s going on?

what brand lights do you have?
I put some cheap Chinese LED bulbs in my Jeep headlights and had the same issue. Apparently they were not shielded properly.
I installed Rigid ditch lights on my Bronco and have had no issues…

Brand/quality dependent - which is why we can’t use non-certified bulbs in aircraft.

Don’t buy lights from Harbor Freight, or Amazon sellers with names like Booglebub, Moonglo, Ramencup, etc.

Well that doesn’t seem right!
They should be properly shielded…

Didn’t buy them off Amazon or any of those. I got them from 4x4 trucks

I am an Amateur Radio Geek, and I end up dealing with crap like this all the time.
That's a good price for those chokes; the Amateur Radio sellers gouge us!!!
