Not sure where to post these questions:
Just acquired a new Outerbanks V6 , love the vehicle.

- noticed I didn’t get a delivery checklist showing what’s been reviewed by the dealership. Is that normal?

- the 60 side of the back seat doesn’t fold down , anyone have this issue?

- took a picture behind front when, should this frame have a cap on the end? Seems strange to be left open. I can imagine a lot of road grime going inside. Pic below

- acquired the vehicle about an hour away due to combination of options and no dealer added options. Can I just go to local dealer for the seat issue?

Thanks in advance

I don't believe I've ever gotten a checklist of things they go through on the vehicle...likely varies by dealer.

If the 60 side of the seat won't fold down I would presume you have an issue that should be covered by warranty, and your local dealer should be able to handle it. Out of curiousity, did you flip the bottom of the seat forward? I know with our 2dr you have to do that first, not sure if it's the same on 4drs.

Don't know if that's an Outer Banks thing, a 4dr thing, or a model year thing, but I don't recall ours having a tube there? I guess I'd have to look again because I haven't noticed it. As for if it's missing a cap, I would say that it probably is, but I don't know for sure.

Dealers are independent businesses, so it will be very dealer specific. Some dealers have a checklist, some dealers do not.

Something for your dealer to check out.

That is correct from the factory. There are plastic caps you can buy online to close it, but obviously if moisture and gunk gets trapped behind the plastic cap it may cause rust issues. Up to you ultimately.

If you do want the caps, search something like "Bronco crash bar end caps" and a bunch of options will pop up.

Yup. Factory warranty is valid at any Ford dealer in US and Canada (and Mexico?).

The 40 side folds down without flipping bottom seat forward

I've purchased two Broncos and never got a checklist.... that would be a nice touch in sales or finance but don't hold your breath. Although both models I purchased didn't have this open bar problem because of my rigs' beafy tire size, this is what you are looking for....

Early on, there were several people who posted extensive checklists for Delivery. If you’ve got yours already, you’re probably ok. If not, research any topic that you’re concerned about on here and make one up. You should never leave the dealer in that post purchase haze and then wonder what you might have forgotten.

Also get yourself to a Bronco Off-Roadeo. You will learn more about driving this thing than you ever thought.
