Hi All, after some 4 wheeling in the desert I received some extensive small rock chips on the lower door panels and rocker panels. I have black tough up paint arriving tomorrow which I hope will ease the pain.
My black 2024 ford bronco big bend Sasquatch is free of any mud flaps or side steps. So I have some questions about fitment of certain products , also wondering if it would significantly reduce my ground clearance. I don’t perform any ultra serious rock crawling as this is my daily driver, but do hit the trails from time to time and drive over rocks , soft sand, etc.
Keep in mind I’m looking for products that are reasonably priced, durable, and look put together on the truck.
I’m considering the IAG Mud flaps paired with either plastic running boards or possibly more durable rock slider steps . Would this combination of accessories maintain reasonable ground clearance while also protecting me from future rock chips ? Will the mud flaps fit combined with the aforementioned steps/ rails? Any input or product recs would be appreciated . Thanks, products down below

I bought and endorse Rokblox mud flaps. No more stone chips for me.

You will definitely lose some ground clearance, and depending on the trails you play on, possibly rip off the mud flaps also. Everything is a compromise. Rock sliders combined with MEK "Trail Armor" might be the answer for you.

Seconded. RokBlokz can also be installed with a quick-remove thumb screw option so if you’re going to be going over boulders or obstacles that might cause problems with flaps, you just take ‘em off and throw them in back, then reinstall before heading home.

Yes, they help. A good deal.

Yes, they get hung up in rocks and stuff off road.

I started out with Weathertechs. They started rubbing too badly in the front, so I swapped them out to Broflaps. Still running weathertechs in the rear.

The Broflaps have a hole in them from getting hung on something. The Weathertechs the bottom edge looks like it's been run over a cheese grater, but still have their original shape and look new besides that. Both front and rear I've had to use different fender clips and/or zip ties to keep them on.

I like the look of the Weathertecs. The Broflaps are no-nonsense, easy to fit flaps that come with everything you need and the guy that sells them will make sure you are taken care of.

Rokbloz for no need to have a hole for the rails. My ocd couldn’t handle that hole!

I went with the Broflaps. I stalled them w the sliders on. Just reinstalled the running boards and no problems. Also wheeled with them. They’re flexible so they just bend over rocks and do right back afterwards.

@Brian_B If we haven’t yet replaced your Bro-Flap that has the hole, message us on Etsy and we’ll send you a replacement. We’re in Mexico on vacation this week but back in action next week, Aug 25th.
