I’m considering installing a 1” level on my non-squatch Badlands 4dr.
Does anyone know if the lower studs can be knocked out of the Bilsteins while they are still on the Bronco?
I‘m going to use the Rock Krawler kit which consist of a spacer only on the lowers. There is plenty of room to use a spring compressor to remove some of the tension without removing the lower control arm bolts or messing with the spindle nut if I don’t need to.
In other words, I’m hoping that I don’t have to remove the upper strut bolts at all.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks

Can be done, much easier to drop lower A-Arms. Most likely you will want an alignment after 1" change anyways. The toe in changes a lot on the bronco. Also I would throw someJKs tie rod sleeves on for $60!

You MIGHT be able to, but be ready for a wrestling match! They are pressed in there TIGHT. When I did mine, I had the coilover off and in a vise. One of my larger hammers started bending the bar pin and still didn't knock the stud loose. I ended up using a ball joint/u joint press tool on that one. The others weren't quite as bad. YMMV

Thanks!
I‘ve decided against a level or lift of any kind anyway.
I pull a trailer and carry a bit of camping gear and certainly don’t want the rear end squatting.
Ultimately it appears Ford knew what they were doing with a bit of engineered in front rake.
Think I’ll leave well enough alone……my 35s fit without it.
