Nope, use it or lose it, you don't submit an order by the November cut off your reservation is cancelled. The not losing your spot etc. is correct if you convert.

Interest rates aren't dropping any time soon and the kind of recession we are experiencing isn't really typical so I wouldn't consider anything business as usual in that department.

What's interesting is that the "reorder" link I was sent, let me change whatever I wanted... Even had Heritage Limited and Raptor as options...

Rolled the dice and placed order a Raptor...

Let's see what they'll tell me tomorrow. Worst case is, "Uh, you did that wrong...", best case is, "Okay... Raptor it is..."

I know you won't get price protection with a Raptor but I'm not sure how the rest is impacted given that they just started building those more recently. I'd imagine since its a different model, you'll be in a different queue.

BRaptor allocations are limited and most likely already spoken for at your dealer. My concern would be that the order just sits there with no chance of ever getting scheduled. In the meantime you miss out on having your original choice in the OBX getting scheduled. You can also "order" a HE-L but we already know per the faq that Ford said that isn't possibe. Good luck.

I had them change the code from 99code to a 19. Problem is they will not give me any paperwork to prove anything, also I haven’t confirmed my order or signed anything. I’m checking with ford on Tuesday to see where I stand and if there’s anything I need to do.

Either way, if I messed up, I'll know Monday after speaking to them. Maybe I'll do a Heritage now for squared fenders and sell the white bits I won't care for. Need to play around with it.

Ford only built about 25-35% of the GT BRaptors. The rest got royally shafted and rolled over to MY23.

COVP does not require a signed purchase agreement.

The signed buyers order contains the order number, vehicle description, and name, address, contact information for the buyer. A signed purchase agreement will contain an agreed purchase price that both parties agree to and is not part of COVP.

It is the Buyers Order, along with drivers license information, that is required by the COVP process. This is what I signed on 9/23 to convert my 22 order.

IMO if orders aren’t fulfilled within 2023, they’re going to lose quite a few orders (myself included) to competitors. Given the granger situation and inability to order from another dealer, I’ve given up.

Welp, as I figured.. I got the call...

Back to my original OBX order. Couldn't bring myself to change to Hertigage because of the cloth seats and manual controls...

He was also clear their Raptors sold above MSRP and they plan to do the same with the Limiteds they might get (2 at most).

So I'm being told right now that I can't change my 2022 ordered Base to a Black Diamond. They say it will be a different order. Do y'all know if that's true?
