Came across a YT vid of this company selling a kit for the Rigid chase light which mounts to spare tire while eliminating the third break light.... essentially replacing it. Has anyone purchased this? Have experience with this company?

Anyway, I sent them an email....a week later... No response.

How big is the company and what has weather been like in Atlanta?

Some small companies don't live on their email 24/7.

Where to start.

1. The price they show on their website is $40 higher than what Rigid shows on their website.

2. Neither Diode Dynamics nor Baja Designs show them as dealer yet Headlight Revolution shows them in their brand directory. If they're not a dealer you usually won't be able to get warranty support from a company. (more below)

3. No street address given, why not? They have one. Don't they want their customers to find them?
2281 Defoor Hills Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA

4. No phone number. Always a danger sign. Why isn't it given?
(218) 755-5200,

I did some research after determining the above information.

It is a real company. BBB does not accredit the company and shows a lot of complaints about misleading info and poor support.

Trustpilot gives them a low score (2.5/5) with many one star reviews citing poor service, returns and warranty issues.

I could go on, but you get the point.

I'd shop somewhere else.

I had no problem finding a phone number on their page. But I have never understood unrealistic expectations on email response when a few of the days are clearly ones where a business is closed.

Red flags may be there, but I really don't care enough to look on their site. Drop-shippers aren't who I tend to look at...but I also have realistic expectations of how communication works, especially in times of shitty weather.

Nice CSI work Horatio...:inspect::) I really liked the idea for the chase light.

Headlight Revolution is a well known company in the retrofitting world. They were bought out by The Morimoto/The Retrofit Source years ago. All these companies fall under the same ownership as Wheel Pros who owns brands such as Hoonigan, Fuel, Black Rhino, ReadyLift, etc...

Headlight Revolutions has their own team of people.
Morimoto/TRS have their own team of people.
WheelPros operates their own team and allows Headlight Revolution & Morimoto/TRS to operate as themselves, since I think on paper Hoonigans is the official owner (it's confusing).

So yes it's a real company. Chances are if you send a direct email it went to a box nobody monitors OR it got marked as spam.

TRS/HR/Morimoto do not own Rigid, Baja Designs, Diode Dynamics, etc... the in-house brands for them are Morimoto & GTR.Lighting.

It's an odd relationship since Morimoto directly competes with Baja Designs and Diode Dynamics but you can find all these brands on the TRS website (because TRS was basically the consumer facing side of Morimoto and the wholesale side for Morimoto dealers).

With that said, if you're looking for support or information I'd recommend reaching out to one of the forum sponsors (such as us) who are active here and specialize in lighting :)
