Nobody should be paying for that. Warranty or not, that is a design flaw. There ought to be a recall and 100% goodwill for anybody that has the problem. Too many people roll over and accept garbage like that.

Anyone have a place to buy the wire harness for the rear BLIS sensor? The one that has been shown in mine and the OP's pics? I found this one, but was wondering if there is a "better" or more creditable source? I will be replacing it myself as I won't pay $1200 for the repair and I am out of warranty.

That’s gotta be covered, no?Now that it is not below zero every day I may finally replace the wire harness. However I lay wait to here what the dealer would charge since I am waiting for them to get parts for the 2-3 open recalls for the car.
