make sure to show her the “sport mode” … 😎
Even "echo" is too fast for me. "Times....they are a-changing".

After all the typical add on's (CAI, Charge Pipes, Fast Intentions cat back, Pro Cal Tune) I did add a Boomba manifold spacer, bigger GPE throttle body and a throttle body spacer on all at once. It woke up the throttle response to another level. Claims +17HP on just the spacers.

I should be about +100HP all together.

Nice..... but that looks like a V6. The 2.3L is what's being discussed in this section/thread.

Start ditching the extra weight. Lose the roof rack and spare tire. Rear seat delete. Simple turn down exhaust to get rid of the pig tractor muffler.

Easiest = Premium gas
Cheapest = Pedal Commander
Simple/Tech centered = Ford Performance Tune
Most involved = parts upgrades

I have a 2.3 Badlands Sasquatch 4 door and I've done the top 3 of my list above. Others may disagree but I don't really care for the pedal commander and rarely use it. The Tune is nice and I like it but I think I expected slightly more pep. I do think the shifting is more my style which was worth the money.

I don't feel the need for anymore power that would drive me to add the engine components. Those are my opinions!

Still waiting for real tunes to take advantage of all the power I have sitting on the table, there's no reason that the Braptor and 2.7 have legit tunes and we don't considering the 2.3's been around for a good long while in Mustangs

Thought I’d revisit this thread, her 2021 Base 2 door 7 speed is STILL in its factory stock configuration. It’s her second vehicle so not a daily driver but STILL looking at a few upgrades. The power thing is no longer a big issue since her new rig just just arrived :bandit:

….the quiet stock exhaust note just has to go, not looking for anything loud just something to let you hear the rpm’s and know your shift points a bit better.

…still running factory shocks and would like to upgrade to some Bilstein‘s but NOT wanting to lift it (I’ve been a loyal Bilstein shock buyer for almost 30 years and installed 20 sets or so on personal and family trucks).

her new wheels…
