Nice brainwaves on the 2x=3000! Sticker price caught me there. That would mean that the factory soft top is only 300 more than the SuperTop (albeit for the JK). SO it would then come down to "Which is more efficient dollar wise - Soft top now or hard top now and then get the other later?"
Factory hard vs soft top may affect things such as whether it’s wired/plumbed for rear window defroster and wiper/washer, if those are a consideration for you. Might be worth looking into if you care.

Seems very weird they are asking customers what they were willing to buy and at what price.
My guess is they have metrics with assumptions about % of tie in for each option accessory (i.e. Badlands 2 Door tie in rate for 2.7L and 10 Speed is 62%). If they do a bunch of survey and that tie-in rate is much lower like 33%, then they potentially lower the cost for it by the time we do orders in December.

The numbers work but one thing still doesn't make sense to me. If the prices Ford uses are $1500 for the soft top and $2200 for the MIC top, then there is an implied $1500 credit towards your top.

You can choose the soft top for free by applying your $1500 credit or you can pay $700 for the MIC by applying your credit. Those numbers work. But why $3700 for both? Shouldn't the $1500 credit be applied and the price for both be $2200? Am I missing something?
So for the 4 door, say you can buy one with NO top. Subtract $1500 from the base price to get one with no top.

Then just add the prices for each top onto the base price.

1500 for soft, plus 2200 for MIC equals 3700 for both tops.

According to my Chinese math:

OB comes with auto trans already, so it's a $1,600 upcharge to get the 2.7 engine.
To go from a 2.3 man to 2.3 auto, it's a $1,600 upcharge to get the auto trans.
2.3 man to 2.7 auto is a $3,500 upgrade.

So to summarize:
Auto = $1,600 option
2.7 = $1,600 option

2.7+auto = $3,500

Where did the extra $300 come from?

Didn't read the whole thread, just the first 6-8 pages. Was anything mentioned regarding "Advanced 4x4" or upgraded front ring gears?

Also:

Doug/Ford: Mr. IT manager, are you ready to drop B&P? Everyone on Bronco6G is going insane right now and you are past your deadline.
IT Manager/Ford: No, but it will be okay. I whipped up this cool survey and can drop 5 or 6 pricing hints and then we can just watch the feeding frenzy for the next 48 hours.
Doug/Ford: Sounds like a plan. You had better come up with another excuse at least this good 48 hours from now.

That is all.

If those Badlands option prices are accurate then I’ll be able to get my 2DR Badlands + 2.7EB/10-AT + High Package for $50K or less before TTL!

Not really since both are direct injection turbo engines. The NA 3.3 to a TDI is more apples and oranges than a turbo 4cyl to a turbo 6cyl. It doesn't make sense from a cost perspective.
Not true. The 2.7 is dual injected and the 2.3 is only direct. The 3.3 is a more expensive engine than the 2.3.

Yeah, I thought so too, but then again its factory and it's modular, which hopefully means its pretty much ready to bolt anything onto it aftermarket?

Perhaps I missed something, but Ford's site reflects that the Carbonized gray hardtop is standard on the 2DR BL.
Is the up charge $1900 to get it painted shadow black?
