Trying to find out if it’s possible to bypass the timer/battery kill that happens when sitting in the vehicle WITHOUT the engine running. This is different from the 30min engine idle timer.

Are you talking about power to the 12v outlets? Forescan can make them hot for 23 (?) hours.

I believe Forscan can do that for you.

Are you talking about the radio or the power points, USB and 12v receptacles? Radio, probably not, but the power points, yes.

The radio primarily so I’m not starting the engine constantly while at the drive-in since the headlights like to turn on every time.

Push start without putting your foot on the brakes will give you power without turning on the engine. Not sure the time on that.

If you have forscan, look for something called accessory delay. I’m not sure if there’s an option to change it or not since I’ve never looked for it, but that’s what it’s called.

It will still turn everything off after about 30-40 min. It dose it so you don’t accidentally kill the battery. Just trying to find I way to not have to keep doing that.
On a side note if there is a way to make it so the headlights don’t auto on every time the start button is pressed that would work too.

For the drive in, instead of playing it on your car radio download a radio app on your phone and connect to a Bluetooth speaker from your phone. Better than draining your car battery.

I tried changing this on mine, but my radio still times out after 10 minutes. Think it was called "Extended Play". Maybe it's in multiple modules or something and I just didn't catch them all.

There's a whole thing about it on the F150 forum but I admit I haven't parsed through it all other than adjusting the EZMode Extended Play setting

The power point timer setting worked fine though
