Not stirring with this post. It’s a genuine question which has been a topic on some YouTube/Podcast channels before.

I think it’s an interesting topic, as yes, you can do what you’d like to your own vehicle. However, what’s your reasoning? Some folks have essentially tried to build a higher trim level, so I wonder why they didn’t just buy the higher trim (assuming some options are cheaper from the factory)? I’m sure some want a certain look, without the functionality. Etc.

It’s an interesting discussion - hopefully we can keep it constructive :)

In before a Raptor owner comes in to say they detest people putting raptor parts on their "normal" Bronco! :devilish:

Honestly, I am indifferent on the matter. I say rock what you like!

My opinion, adding pieces from other trims to enhance the look is great.

Swapping badges is bad. Essentially you are advertising that you are a liar and can't be trusted.

There's, IMHO, a huge difference between between putting a Raptor grill on your Bronco and saying it is a Raptor by putting on Raptor badges.

Would you dress like cop if you aren't a cop? Dress like a military veteran if you aren't?

My apologies 604, wasn't trying to be critical of your question at allšŸ‘

Converting any trim into a Custom Heritage is welcomed and encouraged, the more the merrier. Converting a Heritage to no longer look Heritagey is a Sacrilege and a punishable offense!!!

I put a lift and 35’s on my non-SAS BD, but would never put Sasquatch badging on it because it still does not have the capability of a SAS.

I find it amusing that people actually worry about what someone else does to his vehicle. You bought it; it's yours to do with as you please.

That said, I don't see a need to swap any parts on my Wildtrak, although I'm not a fan of the shiny black grill. I'd prefer it to match the other plastic pieces like most trims do.

It's nice to see most people don't seem to care about this. I haven't changed anything on my Bronco (focused on paying it off first), but my husband's 2021 Lariat F150 has the STX grille on it because we both much prefer the honeycomb pattern.

Think I said a few years ago that it's going to be near impossible to know what trim is what after they've been out for awhile. I have no problem with anyone picking and pulling over what they like from other trims to make their Bronco theirs even if it's something I'd never do to mine.

I have no issues with anyone swapping parts on theirs except when they try to sell it off as something it’s not. You ALL know it’ll lead to people posting questions like ā€œI just bought a Badlands Sasquatch. It only has the rear locker button and no sway-bar disconnect. Do I need to go to my dealer and tell them I bought the one that they forgot to put some parts on?!?!ā€ Liars SUCK!!!

Honestly do what you want just don't get upset if people don't like it!
This! Kills me when someone posts "Hey, what do you think of my new mods? And then someone says I don't like it. Next thing you know you're a hater, jealous, your childhood sucked etc....or "if you don't have something nice to say...Blah Blah Blah.

I believe if somebody puts Raptor parts, even the badges, on their Bronco for their enjoyment, that's one thing. If they are genuinely trying to pass it off as a Raptor, or trying to sell it as a Raptor, deception, fraud, lying, crook all apply.
