Something is not right. The dates on that invoice show the resto was done in 2004 and 2005. No one in their right mind would have spent $112,000 on a 15 year old Bronco II in 2004. In 2004 $112,000 was worth a whole lot more than it is today. Something does not add up here.

The only way that Bronco II was ever worth $112,000 was if it was owned by Pablo Escobar and making a run across the border. I am sure that OP is being truthful in what the seller told him, but c'mon.

Yes restoration was done in 2005, guy bought it new in 1989, guessing it was sentimental value that made him decide to do a full restore, have all receipts as well as two written appraisals, one from 2005 and one from 2022

Didn't notice the 2005 date on the receipt until it was pointed out... That was an insane price in 2005, it wouldn't have been insane in 2020 or 2021...

That's amazing. I can certainly see it being worth that much in its current state. Not a very good investment for the guy who did the resto work though.
