Quick question in regards to these: do they just adjust pedal sensitivity, as in moving the pedal .25" is the same as moving it .5" without it? Or does it actually get rid of the delay between my foot moving the pedal and the computer moving the throttle body?

I recently had an experience where I had to get in the throttle to merge, then got cut off and had to get on the brakes. The delay between pedal and throttle body was long enough that it stayed in the throttle even after I was on the brakes, which was scary as shit. This is my first drive-by-wire vehicle, and the delay between moving my foot and the Bronco reacting is REALLY hard to get used to.

Takes out the delay. Basically instantaneous. I really like it. Try to catch a sale. Usually it’s somewhere between $30 - $40 off. Occasionally $50, that’s when I bought mine.

The pedal commander creates a looped signal when plugged in. You unplug the pigtail from behind the accelerator pedal and plug it into one side of the harness of the PC and the other side plugs back into the pedal, hence creating a loop. The PC does not communicate with ecu or any other electrical monitoring source, and does not void any vehicle warranties. All it is doing is creating a looped signal to rid of the lag response when the pedal is depressed. So, when you are depressing the pedal it is a instant acceleration response. Depending how you setup your PC up by one of its 32 settings, results in a quicker response. It has ECO, Normal, Sport and Sport+, and each of those has 4 additional settings. So you could go ECO + or - 1, 2, 3, 4, and the same for the other 3, Sport+/+4 is your highest setting. Meaning it is the fastest acceleration response. It is an incredible device, and it actually can save fuel by not having that lag response, which even though is a very slow response is using fuel. This is my 3rd unit installed, 15 GT, 17 RAM and now the Bronco.
