Hi everyone, I I don't know anyone who has a Bronco so I'm asking here. When I look out the passenger window I can see about 3/4 of the mirror (top left to middle) with the remainder obscured by the door pillar. I just think that's wrong because why wouldn't Ford design the mirror so you can see all of the mirror. So, do you see the same when you look out the passenger side mirror?

It’s not legal to have any part of the mirror not visible from the driver seat, that’s why there’s a cut out in the top left corner.

Or adjust your mirror
I tried that and the right side looks exactly like the driver side relative to positioning, angle, etc. The upper right corner is what I can't see. Doesn't really hurt the sight line but it just seems odd.

It’s not a seating issue, it’s a crappy mirror location, I have the same problem, don’t get me going on these mirrors…

That "crappy mirror location" is so you can still have mirrors with the doors off, something the competition doesnt allow.

Like the FJ Cruiser, the Bronco is faulted for visibility problems. My gripe is the right rear pillar and that corner of the "clamshell" hard top. Three thoughts:
1) As stated above, experiment with your seat position. Remember that the steering wheel can adjust, and sliding your seat, adjusting the seatback, then repositioning your steering wheel might improve things.
2) Um...get used to it. Consciously develop habits so you move your head and eyes to compensate.
3) At least one company provides replacement mirrors with an improved convex curve that reduces blind spots (below). I not only got the SUMA mirrors, but ordered the upgraded ones with a turnsignal lamp built into the lens, love it. I ran a wire from the mirror housing, through the mounting bracket and into the engine bay where I hooked it up to the appropriate turnsignal wires. Lots of posts on this product, search "SUMA."

Thank you. I'll look into this option.

The cars I've driven / owned in my lifetime, I'd be really f'n obtuse to make more than a comment or two about the bronco's quirks.

When I test drove mine (yall do that too right?) I knew this thing wasn't a cadillac or have the precision of a 90s lexus. Yet I signed the paperwork with a smile.

I have bigger problems with position of rear view mirror...blocks half the windshield, very easy to miss someone entering right in that spot.

That said, my Tundra pillars blocked much of the right side view as well. Gotta move your head!! lol

The mirrors stick out too far and take a beating off-road, I’ve destroyed one already, wish there was a way to pull them for offroading that didn’t require 20 minutes of work on each one

There’s a reason the jeeps come off with the doors

^ THIS!
I have this issue with a LOT of vehicles. There are times I'll pull up to an intersection and will not see the person to my right at all until I pull in front of them. I can remember a dash mounted mirror that fixes my problem, but those are long gone.
