Just checking in: I have a 2023 Heritage that has an engine block heater that is subject to the recall/TSB. Does anyone know if parts are available for this yet? I have not received a notice yet from Ford that parts are available. Thanks!

Just so you know, if you didn’t already, the recall is just simply going to remove your block heater.
Later down the road, Ford will release a customer satisfaction program to then fix and reinstall a block heater.

Yes, I received that letter, thanks! I think the other alternative was to keep the block heater, not use it and then wait until replacement parts were available. I have thus far not received a letter from Ford saying replacement parts were available but a poster above stated that the parts were in fact available. I would prefer the latter option.

The replacement block heater isn’t available yet. That will come later.
As of right now, only the parts for the recall interim repair to remove the block heater are available.

The recall is to remove the block heater, the customer satisfaction program that will be released at a later date is to replace the block heater that was removed.

Thanks! I'll just wait until I get the letter from Ford that the replacement part is available.

I have this on my '24 Braptor. Looking at the hardware I'm curious, if you know, what is faulty? The heating element that threads into the block or the harness? Or Both?

You shouldn’t have the recall for a Braptor. This recall is only for 2.3 equipped Broncos.

It’s for the actual heating element though. The original cord will be reused once the new element is available.
