Hi all, I read Jeff's post, sent article to the Ford dealership and 4WP and neither would do this for me. 4WP could not do it due to safety liabilities per corporate HQ. After lots of research I found a shop that was more than willing to relocate my parking sensors and was very confident and knowledgeable. This was going to be the first Bronco they had done but had done many jeeps. Here is the result. Amazing!!! Well done!!! Thank you Predator 4WD, Colorado Springs, CO.

Great Job on the relocation of the sensors. I was wondering how you got to the actual sensors to take them out?

Ty, they had to remove the winch. I think they pulled the winch mount and the bumper. I had sent them the pictures from the dude that posted the original post. Predator 4WD in Colorado Springs, CO did the work. I can get you the owner/managers email if you want and you can ask him?

Badlands Sasquatch Lux with factory/Warn winch set up. Successfuly relocated inner park sensors to winch plate
It took 5-6 hours labor over the weekend only because i was unfamiliar with
everything.
No more turning off front park sensors every time i start the Bronco

Do you remember what hole size you cut that to? I want to do mine before I remove everything so it’s ready.

I used a step up drill bit from harbor freight. Just kept going until the hole was big enough. One size at a time.

I saw another post on here somewhere last week where someone had done the same relocation of the sensors on a IAG winch mount and they mentioned that they drilled the holes to 1-1/8" for the sensors. Hope that helps! I'll be double checking as I go just to be safe.

I used the harbor freight step but and it was very difficult. Took me a few hours to get through that 3/16” steel. On the left side I went with a hole saw done in 45 seconds.

here it is. I had to make a notch in the Fairlead support to fit the Badland Apex winch. I also relocated the camera mounted to the winch. I couldn’t swallow my camera being in front of everything and getting destroyed when I dig that plate into the dirt.

I tried the step bit and it took forever (hours). Steel is 3/16”. The other hoke I cut out with a 1 1/8” hole saw in 45 seconds.. both sides I trimmed down the plastic pieces where they stick out for alignment.

it doesn’t mesh with the side view very well because I had to angle it up by a few degrees. I’m going to make a one piece bracket that goes a little higher by 3/4” or so and no kluge of bolts.

I’ll also say I mounted the bracket to the winch on top of 2 nuts. You have to compress a rubber sleeve in the bolt hole to keep the waterproof ratings

I will be doing this soon. Have everything but not sure if I need an extension for the sensor. Also OP - What size did you use on the hole saw?

Does anyone know if you are able to reverse the orientation of the parking sensors. IE: in the image below where it is pointing to the left, can that be flipped so it points to the right, basically upside down from where it is installed OEM.

I installed the Warn Ford Performance winch yesterday. Badlands Sas, Lux. Used the DV8 Off-road camera and ACC relocation kits. Also bought sensor extensions from Rough Country. I drilled out the bumper with a 1” carbide hole saw then used a step bit to widen it another little bit to fit them in (make sure you use cooling oil) made sure they were in the same key location orientation as on the front. No issues at all.

Going to be doing this on my badlands soon. Was there any extensions needed for the factory parking sensors to relocate? Or is there enough slack to bring it to the new location from factory?
