Good link to show the AMB. I owned a Black Sapphire BMW for 8 years and it still is one of my fav colors. Although to me it was 100% black metallic. No real hint of blue. I now have a black metallic Jeep GC but the BMW metallic was definitely supreme. Not sure what the "GM" stands for but I do feel AMB is definitely a cross between a black and a dark blue metallic. Very odd/unique shade indeed. I am actually thinking of getting it but currently prefer CO. AMB is a close second.I love the "idea" of AMB, but in real life I have a very hard time seeing any blue in it, even when parked next to a black truck.
The idea being something like GM & BMW's "Black Sapphire".
The rain shots I took were the best I have seen it.
