Yeah, I don't think it was a good thing. Indeed, I would like to have had removable windows on my hard top, but my Bronco Heritage was one of the last built in 2024.
However, I am grateful that Ford did not push my order out into MY25 and I was still able to get my 2 door Bronco.
At least you are assured that the adhesive on the window will not fail and your window will fall out. Kind of sits in the back of my mind way too often....

I thought that was with the MIC top... I heard about those. Did not know there was any issues with the fixed (pun intended) windows on the Mod top.
Yes, It was the MIC top, but just goes to show you no windows are safe lol

Interesting thanks guys! I saw the link to the old post as well, helped to explain the difference. Seems like this current version (modular instead of molded) has a thicker/tougher skin. I wonder if a molded on a warranty claim for replacement could be switched to a modular instead of another molded? Given the costs of these warranty claims eating away at Ford, and the history of the molded have some quality control issues, it would seem to make sense to offer the modular as an option upon replacement to stop the warranty claims and phase out the molded version..

Ford will never warranty a part that didn’t originally come on the vehicle.
If you want the modular top, it’ll have to be purchased at full price, which is extremely expensive

Guess I am very fortunate ... the MIC top on my 2022 has zero problems ... of course I live down south where it rarely gets below freezing which is what I believe makes them brittle and prone to crack ... knock on wood! :)
