Hi All,

Thank you for welcoming me to your forum. I just placed an order this week for a Bronco Badlands 4dr and was wondering if there are any suggestions before the order moves along and if there is something you would advise changing. I am paying MSRP which I am not very happy with but I could not find any other dealers to do better. I am in NJ and Miami at all times so either place I was open to ordering but NJ was better between the two.

Order:
24 Badlands 4dr
2.3, 7 Speed Manual
Velocity Blue
Mid Level
Hard top
Trailer tow
Floor liners

I figure this is going to be atleat a 6-8 month wait which I don’t mind. I am currently driving a Ram 1500 which lease will end in about a year. Prior to the Ram I have only had Jeep Wranglers, most being manual, JKUs and JLUs. This is my first Ford but I am excited.

Any advice is appreciated.

Since I just asked for advice in another thread, I’ll offer my opinion.
This is a good build and the best color. For an additional $650, I would (and did) choose the dual tops and get an OEM soft top too. And just in case the floor liners could hold up the build, I would remove from the order and (did) buy them separately from Ford Accessories with 20% discount and free shipping to the dealer. Best Wishes.

How much extra is the High package these days? (High and Lux now combined) The 360 camera is really nice to have. Use it all the time even when doing something as simple as parking in a space.

Agree about the floor mats. If you decide to go with the Ford version, you can use your points to pay for them. Lot of other options out there now though and you'll have time to review.

You'll probably have time to adjust your order. Who knows how long the strike will be or for that matter how it will affect the '24 Job 1 date.

I think it was a difference of 3k or something like that. I don't need need 360, I never use it currently. The B&O was interesting but I can always upgrade on my own at a professional shop.

Honestly, not in too much of a rush. I figure when it comes it comes. I am excited though

Patience! It’ll be worth the wait.

18 months from reservation (first day) to the day we picked up our Bronco. Our attitude was the same as yours...The day it gets here is the day it was supposed to get here. We had a sad moment when we got the email we were being pushed to 22. But, about two weeks later we got a build date. If you can maintain that attitude you have it made in the shade!

If the Bronco is staying up north, I would suggest the High package so you have the heated seats.

Additionally, I would suggest the Aux Switches - it’s an inexpensive way to add typical accessories (as you likely did for your Wranglers)

I’m graduating medical school in May and it’s a gift to myself. I figured it would be here around then so I’d have good associations with it. My Ram has a year left on the lease so I’m fine with it coming whenever.

I just got my Badlands 2 door and love it!!! I also sold my 2015 JK to get it and not looking back!!! My wife and I took the JK to Kansas City, MO which is only 220 miles and said "Never again"!!! The Bronco rides and handles so much better than the Jeep...Plus if you get the 2.7 twin turbo you'll be shocked on how fast it is...nothing like the Jeep. In all fairness I loved my Jeep but since I got the Bronco it's much nicer. It's worth the wait...I waited 8 months for mine...

Congrats and good choice!

Glad to hear you could order a 7-speed. I was told by a salesman a month or two ago that Ford had suspended making Broncos with that transmission for a while.

You had me at velocity blue.. My initial desire was that exact build but in 2dr. After comparing I ended up going with the black diamond instead. The extra features on the BL didnt make up for the $4k price difference in the 2 for me.

Thanks. I was so close to doing BD instead of BL but I think for me personally it would be something I regret. After doing so many years of hell with school I want to buy exactly what I want.

I fully expect it to take a year to get this truck. The trim plus the trans makes it unlikely.

I'd go 2 door and skip floor liners and get WeatherTechs instead, eveything else looks awesome.

Would you consider a ‘22 eruption green Badlands? 7 spd, mid package, rubber floor mats, archetype racing steps and rokbloks mud flaps? Tailgate organizer and aftermarket tow package too. And a transferable extended warranty…6 year/125000 miles.
