Perhaps making this too complicated, but am trying to ensure the dealer has actually placed my order correctly. The email I received from Ford indicates a 4 door badlands soft top vs. a 2 door hard top as initially reserved and ordered with the dealer. The dealership produced a new order preview sheet showing a 2 door last week, but there is no corresponding email from Ford indicating the 2 door bronco is ordered. Called Ford but they could not confirm anything. Ideas are much appreciated!

The dealership has been very vague and difficult to get to switch back to the 2 door. Request a copy of the DORA from your dealer. It is the acknowledgement from Ford to the dealer of the exact order and options.

Edit: Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement

My dealer will not provide me one. They told me they ā€œare not allowedā€ to.

Edit: my shit dealer.
I'd call ford. They are using your res to order a model you don't want so they can sell it for ADM when you decline it.

Definitely call Ford, before this goes on too long!

I'd show up in person. Harder to deny you a reasonable request. Best of luck.

I’m trying to figure all this out too. I reserved a WT on 8-4-21, but ordered a BL 2.7 SAS Soft top on 8-9. Dealer said Ford has not confirmed the order yet. I finally pushed them to call Monday and the Ford person said their were software issues but would confirm my order as soon as fixed.
Someone on here mentioned that it could be order banks are closed for MY21 anyway and would probably just need to order the MY22 in September. I have no clue what’s right or not. I just know I ordered thru the dealer, paid a deposit, and my account only shows my WT reservation. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

I already know this. The Bronco hotline is of no help because I do not have a VIN.

Ford person told me I needed an order number and dealer sales number. I have neither and dealer doesn’t have the order number because it’s never been confirmed by Ford.

I’ve talked to them. The problem with that is always the ā€œor else!ā€

I go in and talk to the salesman, sales manager, Bronco expert heck even the owner if they are there… they all tell me the same thing. They are not allowed to tell me.

I push back. I tell them I know that is bull shit and other reputable dealerships will tell their customers their allotments, their place in line and give them them their DORA.

Again they tell me they cannot provide it.

What am I to do then? There is no ā€œor else!ā€ option with teeth… or else I take my business elsewhere! They will be happy because that means some else to pay them their markups… or else I make a scene in their dealership! No one will care and I will just look like a fool… or else I will call Ford! I have. There is nothing they can do. Whatever ā€œsomethingā€ that kept happening with my first two reservations it doesn’t show as my name anymore despite them being in my reservations on MyFord.

What am I going to do? I believe they already stole my reservations. I’ve talked to the Bronco hotline and they can’t tell me anything as I have no VIN nor build date. I’ve already done my ā€œor elseā€ and am making a new order with a reputable dealer on this site. I am only hanging onto the thin hope I may get a build this year on my current order.

I'd explain this to Ford CS and request the ability to switch to a different dealer. You have your reservation number. That should be enough. There are stories on here of people making a new reservation and Ford applying the original reservation timestamp to the new reservation because of dealer hijinks. I think it's actually a good thing you don't have a VIN.

Your reservation number and name are enough for the bronco marketing team to trace your order or non order (still in reservation status). If the first person you speak with can’t tell you ask for someone else.
Thanks for the encouragement, will call Ford again.

I never received an email from Ford when I made changes to my order. Only a confirmation email when the reservation was initially converted and the order placed.

Can you post a pic of the order preview sheet that your dealer sent you?

Your reservation info on your Ford account does not change when you order or change your order. Instead the status will change to In Store Order. Did your dealer provide you with a new DORA when you changed?

Also, dealers are not required to disclose allocations. Those that do so are providing a better level of customer service.

And lastly, Ford stopped allowing dealer switches months ago. There have been rumors of this being allowed again when MY22 order opens up but not confirmed.
