I’m all over that thread and I’m in the window. Was hoping he had something new to add. If it’s true that it’s really only 50 engines that’s very good news.

It’s horrible. It would be great if Ford addressed it with information/data or a recall. Instead, it’s just ignored and us owners are left thinking our engine is going to explode every time we hit the throttle.

Wait. Am I understanding correctly that there are 50 total 2.7 failures and 43 of them are B6G members? That seems very suspect if true. Almost approaches ludicrous levels of absurdity. Again, if I am understanding the data provided by drew707. Will say that I have had some Bushmills tonight so I could be confused. o_O
Apparently, that’s what the “Ford Program Management” employee stated.

You can stop worrying, 43(?)of 50 2.7 failures are specifically here on this forum, just a freak coincidence 🙄...The Ford Program Management employee is on top of it, you can rest easy I’m sure.

Wait, wasn't there supposed to be like 7000-7500 built? It was supposed to be limited to like 3500, and then a computer glitch allowed for more FE reservations than intended, and then Ford increased the number 'due to demand' to the 7000-7500 figure. Sounds like around 3000 people who reserved FEs got the shaft instead.

Yep your 100% correct, for example my wife canceled her early FE 4dr order and changed it to a 2dr Wildtrack...and now it's coming with the HOSS 3.0 package too!

940 2dr FEs! WOW! Wonder how many of those were of each available color? How many a-51 or Lightning B?

And it seems that everyone that got one is trying to sell it near 100k. Nothing special on the first edition, it’s like a fully loaded Badlands the only option you don’t get it’s the lighting blue color.
Happy to have mine. Best equipment from several models. Happy to be 1 of less than 4500 and have some features that are not packaged together on any other bronco.

No, very few weren't built and a few were damaged in shipping etc. The majority of that # reneged on purchase, likely due to the continual delays, navy pier issue, etc., or switched to other models.
