So... 64,000 miles later on my 2021 Badlands, clearly I'd run it hard enough that the suspension was pretty rough. This is still a daily driver, so dropping baller amounts of dollars on it wasn't really in the plan, perhaps down the road.
My wheeling:
Expectations:
I do think I'll be adding the BellTech rear stabilizer bar. I don't have one, but the mounts are there. That should help with a bit of body roll, and since I do tow a small cargo trailer frequently, it should help with that too.
My wheeling:
- SoCal (Anza Borrego) / Death Valley / Eastern Sierras
- Upcoming trip to Moab in May
- Usually kids in tow, loaded pretty heavy with camping shit
- MetalCloak Bumper w/Warn Zeon winch
- Roof Rack
- Solar Panel
- Turn Offroad Hardtop (heavier than stock)
- Fridge
- Goose Gear cabinet
- Turn Offroad Swing Gate reinforcement
- Basic maintenance, it was time
- More trail comfort for the family
- Mostly back to factory height, raked a bit unloaded, level when loaded
Expectations:
- Probably not going to let me get away with murder like the ESC-V would
- They'll take the washboards fine, up to a point.
- Once these are shot, I should be able to afford MT64s or something similar, so it'll feel like a pretty substantial change. Perhaps something with adjustability would be a next step.
- I'd like to get 45-55,000 miles out of these, we'll see.
