Official name for this part of tailgate?

Is there an official name for the section of the tailgate circled in the attached image? I've been looking for accessories that utilize that space, but it's difficult without knowing exactly what to search for. I know IAG makes a compressor that fits in there, and I also found a lockable "medicine cabinet" accessory that goes there, but that's about it.
