Off-road Navigation -- NavOffroad IOS or other apps?

Has anyone used NavOffroad IOS for .gpx files. It is a one time fee rather than a monthly or yearly subscription. There is a button to set up a mapbox account to download maps, but I would like a low one time cost(or free) to navigate back roads/trails. Does anyone have another app they use that is low one time cost(or free)?

I've never heard of Navoffroad.

I've used Trailsoffroad, OnX, and Gaia.

OnX had a free one year trial a few months ago for Ford owners. I'm not sure if that's still available. Great app though!

Would you call it a one-time fee when purchasing a Garmin GPS?

My main off road GPS is a Zumo 550 which came out in 2008. I've had to replace the battery once, but it does great with GPX files. I also managed to snag a used Zumo 660 for fifty bucks that works fairly well off road also, but can get confused if it doesn't recognize the current GPX tracks as being on a road.

The maps that Garmin uses have some gaps up in the Idaho hills, but overall it gets me where I want to go.
