Well, it really depends on many more factors regarding 2d vs 4d suspension. Optimal is matching doors, engine displacement, trim and tow package. It does not mean that it won't work and depending on how much weight you are putting on the front and rear of the vehicle it could be the right answer.

The non-sasquatch Badlands suspension is definitely an upgrade and one of the first modifications I did on my OBX.
Well the suspension i was going to pick up is off an 2 door badlands non SAS. I have a 4 door black diamond non SAS. Also have the tow package and I do tow with it. I feel like I should get something that will give me a little bit of lift but also can handle my day to day driving. Not much of an off-roader but when I do I want something that can handle it ya know.

The install labor on a set of shocks is $700-ish. It is weird to spend $700 on labor for a $400 part. If you can swing it go for the Bilstein 6112s. They will cost you $1500-ish though. I also have a BD non SAS and was lucky enough to get the 6112s for free after loaning my Bronco to Bilstein for a week to test fit the as of yet unreleased 8112s. The 6112s are a major upgrade to the Hitachis especially off road.
The rear's are pretty easy to do yourself, if you already have the whole assembly together. In my case I removed the tire, drooped down the suspension, and I could get my King 2.5's in myself. I may have jacked up the opposite side to encourage more droop on the downward side. The fronts have more going on.

While I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the vast threads of bronco6g, Im going to ask while I continue my search. I have a 4 door 21 black diamond no SAS with standard suspension. I recently came across a person selling his non SAS badlands suspension off of his 22 2door, alone with leveling perch collar. Will that be an upgrade and will it even work on my 4 door? I'm not sure and neither is the seller. Would anyone know such answers???
What size tires are you currently running? And what sort of off-roading will you be doing if any?

This might not be a popular approach here, but a low cost puck lift might suit your situation fine. I've got a $50 puck lift waiting for nicer weather to install on my base, which will give me an overall ~3/4" lift with some additional leveling up front. That's around Badlands height but with some additional front leveling.

I've done mostly slow speed rocky trail crawling with my CJs, with clapped out shocks and it was fine. I wouldn't spend a bunch of money getting rid of perfectly good stock Bronco shocks in favor of upmarket unless your usage warrants. Maybe if you are doing some high speed stuff with lots of whoops, where your shocks are fading due to heat, then upgrade to extra capacity reservoir units. (Just don't get the shocks with the reservoirs that are rusting off!)

Are you saying they are coming out with 8112s soon? $1360 is the best price I could find on 6112s at jeepandtruckparts.com
Don't have any idea when/if they are coming out with 8112s, just know that they test fitted a 8112 prototype. If you are doing the work yourself make sure that the price for the 6112s includes assembly of the springs.
