I have a basequatch 4 door with the modular front bumper and am looking to add skids for the transmission, transfer and gas tank.. most likely from LOD off-road or Asfir.

The modular front bumper comes with the OEM front bash plate but not clear if it also comes with the engine skid plate as well. When I look under the vehicle it looks like the engine skid may be there. Seeking clarification from the forum members.

for those of you that have a basequatch and the modular front bumper, how was integration of OEM skids with 3rd party?

thanks

We do have the engine skid along with the front bash skid. I've read multiple people using Asfir's original transmission skid (not the badlands version) with the OEM engine skid on a base sasquatch. I ordered their transmission and fuel tank skids (about $700 shipped), and the OEM transfer case skid from Ruxer for about $50 shipped. The Asfir skids are supposed to get to me this week.

edit: LoD and JCR transmission skids are much larger than the Asfir transmission skid and cover the low hanging cross members which is nice. Going aluminum, the JCR's cost quite a bit more than Asfir and LoD hasn't released pricing and I believe is steel only. I have also seen people fabricating their own transmission skid from 1/4" aluminum (no welding or bending needed).

Thanks Kevin! Appreciate the response. I'll probably go your route and buy the OEM transfer skid and look at either LoD or Asfir for the gas tank and transmission. LoD makes steel and aluminum versions.
