Hello B6G Members!

I recently relocated the keyless entry pad to the fuel door and it’s the first time I’ve attempted to use it. I found the factory code card in the fuse panel area and tried using that code with no luck.

The only thing that does work is the (7-8 9-0 unlock function) Is there an activation or something I’m missing here or did I get the wrong code card/ defective unit?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated before I head to the dealer. Thank you all in advance and happy trails! 🤙🏼

The code by the fuse box will not work. Period. You should have a credit card size plastic card with a number on it. That’s the one you need.

Yup. SecuriCode. The plastic credit card sized card in the fuse panel area with the code on it didn't work. I wound up going to the dealer and they couldn't pull it from the PCM or BCM. I guess it's a newer system they were unfamiliar with. The service manager came out and punched a code in wrote it down for me and sent me on my way. I'm 99% sure he gave me a master code.

I'm going to try the same code on my buddies F150 a little bit later today.

That code will NOT work! It’s a separate card with bar codes on it that comes with the keypad.
Let me see if I can find mine input my own code in so I don’t use the standard one anymore.

Interesting. Where do I find the card you’re talking about and what’s the 5 digit code on the one I found for?

This is what the card you want looks like. Should be in your glove box, tool kit or center console. I have no clue what the other code is mine has it too but it doesn’t work for anything but is the code programmed into the sync system. Mine came with the keypad as I had it added.

I'm also having a problem programming my key pad using the card that came with it I'm going to have the dealer do it when I get an oil change

hi
is there a way to find this code?
My car was used and didn't come with this sticker.
I have the card by the fuses, but it does not work.
Thanks

Only way it can be obtained is by your dealership.

i'll ask, but the keypad code, if it is not the one by the fuses, i understand it is not in their system.

There’s a special way for them to retrieve it and it’s the only way possible. Show this to them and they should have no issue getting it.

@Ducati1098: I had to do this to get my Keyfob code. What he posted is the only way to get it done.

Hi
after some time, i went to the dealer for the regular service interval.
I went online with him in the ford portal. FMCDealer.com.
His FMCdealer page is empty. It only has stuff like account info and preferences and a tab with Links and a tab with Apps. Both are empty.
The local dealer uses a different page: UE.FMCdealer.com. and it show him a ton of stuff.
But he doesn't have a Parts and Service Tab for my car Maybe because it is a model for Canada (North America) and the VIN is not recognized by the system in Europe.
Also, they don't cover warranty, recalls (even safety ones) or some software upgrades.
Any idea on how to get this keypad code?
Thanks.

No, sorry. I don't have experience with other markets, only US.
