Having the AMP steps installed this week. I already have the FP tune installed into my OBD port. Who has the best product to be able to run my FP tune readout as well as the connection for the AMP Steps?

I have this one in two vehicles to run a tuner plus an HUD - and it’s worked fine for about a year.

I have to ask "Why" do you keep the FP ProCal plugged in all the time? I found it to be rather obtrusive, not user friendly and really annoying that it never shuts off. I just keep it in the glovebox to keep from losing it in the garage. Do you constantly monitor it or make adjustments so frequently you need it plugged in?

I think im one of the few that like it. Enjoy having my temps and boost reading not on my dash.

A billion percent agree. The FP device itself is really a poor display, looks shabby on the windshield, and I can't really find value here after the tune is installed other than for changing tire sizes or struggling to install the FP Steering Rack (I had to do the workaround ultimately). There are splitters, but if you're bent on getting an auxiliary gauge display, you could look at doing the piggyback JB4 which lets your phone be the customizable gauges, the Wagner Tuning -vent-based gauges, or others. Both of those still use the OBDII port, so you'd use a splitter, but both ultimately provide a more elegant solution than the ProCal as an additional gauge display.

I am guilty of mounting the controller during Cars and Coffee events, but just as a Flex  :like:

I've got a metal ford performance emblem right by the screen as my 'evidence' but ok ok, i can see the desire to want to show the thing that cannot be seen.
