Did the companies that showcased Broncos at SEMA have an "in" at Ford and get Broncos through a special channel or did they buy them off the free market for elevated prices? I can see if the bought them free market where they wouldn't care the price since they would re-coop the cost with the resale or for sure with the products they created for the build. Just curious....

Probably some of both....some of the big companies like 4WP and ARB certainly had connections as they worked with Ford to roll out essentially partnership Broncos. Smaller companies likely made early reservations like some of us and others likely paid markup like you suggested.

This...I remember at least 3 requests on here from vendors for Broncos to use at Sema.

One thing is certain though - Nearly every Bronco built this year was at SEMA. That's where they've all been hiding.
