HPR on a bright day is definitely more orange than red, but different light conditions will make it more red, but it always has just a hint of orange to it. I absolutely fell in love with HPR at first sight. After seeing all the other colors, EG would have been my next choice followed by VB as my 3rd choice.

Hi..I just placed a order for a 2024 BB. I've got my build just right but can't seem to be good with a color. I originally picked the EG but went to a dealership yesterday and did not like it. I then picked the HPR from a swatch book the sales person showed me. I love red (not the race red) but from what I've seen there's a orange tint to this color which I'm not a fan of. I've always had white, gray, black etc colors in my vehicle and wanted something a little different for my Bronco. Being that I'm a OSU alum there's no way I could ever have a blue vehicle. Has anyone gotten the HPR and had the same apprehensions I have now? Could you tell me about how you feel about it now? I guess I'd pick the cactus gray if I had to pick another but that seems a bit bland.

TIA
Race Red. Too bad you can't get this color! I love it!

I have HPR and couldn’t be happier! The color shifts in the sunlight are stunning and pictures just don’t do it justice at all. OP, I’m not sure which part of NC you’re in, but you’re welcome to take a look at mine before making your final decision if you’re in the Winston area.

If you have any aversion to orange, I'd go ahead and change your order because it does have orange tones in it, especially in full sun.

wow..that is neat looking. I’m trying to stay below 50k out the door so I had to take a rear locking diff over the cost of this color. I went with EG bc it was my second choice and included.

Highly recommend seeing the colors in person, and under different lightings. Preferably on a Bronco, and better yet on the 2 or 4 door depending on what you are buying. Else you could be in for a surprise.

HPR is a tricky tri coat metallic and can have a duller burnt orange look depending on the lighting. To me in the bright sun it had a kind of starburst reddish/orangish quality. Personally I've never seen HPR look the shade of red we commonly see in some photos around here (at least as shown on my PC monitor and phone).

If color is important to you, it really pays to see in person before buying.

Lol. We had the same thoughts - wife loves green but the EG was not a pick for us. CG was a thought but at times we thought it was pasty. And in the world of gray/silver, black, white vehicles

, we feel Broncos need to shine!! No bland, no ordinary for us. HPR is awesome - not too orangey, not race red. Deep rich color. Beautiful in all lighting.
We’re thrilled with the HPR and everyone that sees it remarks “love that color”. As do we!

Idk..seeing all of these HPR makes me want to keep it. The only holdup I see on the EG is that it looks like a wizard of oz color.

I actually went by a dealership and saw a Maverick in HPR. Did not like it at all. I sent my salesperson to go back to EG. I was behind someone at a light today with the EG and love it. Final answer!!
You made the right choice. You will not regret this color.

Thanks..actually my favorite is the Azure Gray Metallic but I don't want to fork over $1000 for paint.
I have the Azure Gray and absolutely love it. I did not like it in the brochure but I saw one in person and was really surprised by how good it looks. As others have said, find a Bronco in the color you are thinking about and see it in natural light. The AG changes color a fair amount depending on lighting and cloud cover. That’s part of what I like about it.

I have one of each, Eruption Green and HPR. I like them both, they both look awesome in the sun. But I like and get more compliments on the green. I like colors and think they make the broncos unique. My first choice was cyber orange but they discontinued it right before I ordered mine. And I don't usually like yellow cars

Love my HPR. Was mad about having to change when they discontinued Rapid Red, but honestly I like HPR more.

It looks a lot like the Magma Red Toyota had for the Taco a few years back, only tri-coat.

I don't understand why they don't offer colors similar to the early Bronco colors. From what I can tell only the Heritage models have anything close. Maybe it's just me but how many shades of gray do we need?
