Hi..I just placed a order for a 2024 BB. I've got my build just right but can't seem to be good with a color. I originally picked the EG but went to a dealership yesterday and did not like it. I then picked the HPR from a swatch book the sales person showed me. I love red (not the race red) but from what I've seen there's a orange tint to this color which I'm not a fan of. I've always had white, gray, black etc colors in my vehicle and wanted something a little different for my Bronco. Being that I'm a OSU alum there's no way I could ever have a blue vehicle. Has anyone gotten the HPR and had the same apprehensions I have now? Could you tell me about how you feel about it now? I guess I'd pick the cactus gray if I had to pick another but that seems a bit bland.

TIA

Highly recommend seeing the colors in person, and under different lightings. Preferably on a Bronco, and better yet on the 2 or 4 door depending on what you are buying. Else you could be in for a surprise.

HPR is a tricky tri coat metallic and can have a duller burnt orange look depending on the lighting. To me in the bright sun it had a kind of starburst reddish/orangish quality. Personally I've never seen HPR look the shade of red we commonly see in some photos around here (at least as shown on my PC monitor and phone).

If color is important to you, it really pays to see in person before buying.

Thanks..actually my favorite is the Azure Gray Metallic but I don't want to fork over $1000 for paint.

I faced the same dilemma. At the time I ordered there were no HPR trucks to even check out. I rolled the dice and absolutely love HPR! This color is very unique which I like. As mentioned many times in other threads, the lighting changes the look. Full sun you get a burnt Orange/starburst look. Cloudy/shade/evening you get a beautiful shade of red. It should be easier to see live now that there are more out and about. Side note, getting a lot of positive comments from others that see it. Cheers!

I stressed about my color before ordering as well. I went with the Blue and love it so much, that being said- I think the Hot Pepper is probably my 2nd favorite color. It isn't quite red (a color I strongly dislike), it does have an orange tint to it. It is a unique color and looks great. That being said, you need to see the color in person before ordering it. Find one somewhere and check it out. Pretty sure you can find it on other ford vehicles as well.

The 2 colors I originally wanted were discontinued for 22 when I ordered. I went on a gamble with velocity blue being I had only seen it on a mustang and f150. Didn't look right on the mustang but looked good on the truck. I couldn't be happier. Azure gray is a beautiful color too that wasn't available then..

I saw HPR for the first time on a clear summer day and it was an instant no for me. Looked orange to my eye.

I have a ‘24 on order as well. My first color choice of those available was, and is, Eruption Green. I considered HPR until seeing it in person; it was an emphatic “no” for me. If EG was not offered, I would most likely settle on white. Boring? Yes! However it would be the most appealing choice for me. My wife’s favorite is Azure Gray, but I’m not a fan and, like you, I would not pay a premium for it, plus I’m weary of owning silver and gray vehicles. I would pay a premium for what I consider a desirable color…such as Antimatter Blue.😁

I actually went by a dealership and saw a Maverick in HPR. Did not like it at all. I sent my salesperson to go back to EG. I was behind someone at a light today with the EG and love it. Final answer!!

Neighbors F150 is HPR.

Daughter just mentioned today as we drove by ... "That HPR is a really nice color."
I agree.
In real life, I liked it as soon as I saw it.

I've only seen 1 or 2 Broncos in that color and they certainly stand out.

I'll dig thru my pics and see if I can find the one pic I took at the dealer because HPR color/wheel color combo looked so damn sharp.

Eff it, I'm still posting the pics since I found them!!
They somehow survived the very recent junk pic purge.

If you go with any other color besides EG, every time you see an EG Bronco color shifting to gold in the direct sun, you'll be jealous.
I had EG for a bit on my order, switched to VB ...quite happy with it AND it matches the old mans boat that I borrow occasionally! LOL

In real life, the color combo was very sharp.

I went with the EG on my ‘22 Badlands. I am not a ‘green’ person at all - don’t really like the color but the EG is beautiful. You will not be disappointed in your choice.
when HRP first came out I didn’t like it either but now it is probably my second favorite color.
IMO Ford eliminated the wrong red - they should have kept Ruby Red and phased out Race Red. Ruby Red was fabulous.
