I placed reservation on July 14th, 2020, ordered on January 20th 2021 and took delivery on September 27th 2021.

Well, put in my order yesterday at my local dealership for an Area 51 Black Diamond, so I guess that makes me the newest sucker sitting at the end of the line 🥲. Owning a Bronco has been my dream since … well, as long as I can remember.

Since wanting a Bronco: Pretty sure I’m on day 9,135.. I had to have been about 7 when I realized there was more to the world than Barbie’s.

It was supposed to be Rapid Red, but got pushed to MY22. Wouldn't compromise on the 2DR and MIC Top.

Quickly learn that when you're hand washing it the first few times . LOL
If there is one reason to kick myself in the ass at wash time, it's the "accessories" .... Mod Bumper, Brush Guard and roof rack.
So many places for the crud to hide!

Just read on Yahoo. If you want to know why your reserved and ordered bronco has not shown up yet, yes its mostly about chips, but also this: That other issue, the one covered by Bloomberg, is Ford allocations. The allocation formula is exacerbating the anger some Bronco reservation holders already feel about the lack of communication. Dealers and reservation holders thought Bronco orders would be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Instead, Ford decided 50% of production would be for reservation holders, 25% would factor in dealer location, the final 25% would consider a dealer's historic sales figures. That weighted half the formula in favor of dealers in large markets. Then Ford changed the calculus to factor in Bronco Sport sales as well. Then Ford lowered the threshold for the percentage of Broncos a dealer needed provide to reservation holders out of the allocation, the result being that "four out of 10 new Broncos can go to a walk-in customer or the highest bidder." Some shoppers who reserved Broncos in 2020 still don't have their trucks, yet they're reading stories about people who ordered Broncos recently getting their trucks delivered, or people buying Broncos off the dealer lot. As an aside to all of this, when buyers turn cynical about Ford going after dealers for markups on the battery-electric F-150 Lightning, this is partly why.

First goal is that order confirmation email. That usually shows up right after we second guess our decision to order right?

Well, it is a wonky game! The emails are so hit or miss. Hopefully you get yours no problem!

I received my order confirmation email, but with no VIN, the trackers are useless to me. I ordered a 4-Door - Black Diamond - 2.7L - Mid Package - Non-Sasquatch - Soft Top on Oct 15 2021, and still have no build date (which I am fine with so I can continue to save), and my co-worker ordered 4-Door - Outer Banks - 2.7L - Lux Package - Non-Sasquatch with Soft Top in December 2021 and has a build date. Though she only found out through her dealer. Ford has yet to send any email updates outside of the order confirmation! Ford are definitely in need of some web-based help.

No way, I’m a Cactus Grey guy myself. I noticed he was looking for an A51.

I originally ordered cactus grey but my son picked Area 51 . TBF I would take any color. I wanted a neutral color or semi neutral but beggars can’t be choosers.

Thanks! We are both so excited. My son is way more excited. Got into the front seat and immediately proclaimed “THIS! WE ARE BUYING THIS!” Pretty sure going to the Ford dealership was the first time my son has been to a dealership in his life. He’s a self taught car guy so it was very heavenly for him.

you never know, I ordered one on 12/31 and it just got build 2/18 and delivery date set for 3/8
my experience is keep the options to a minimum. I only added the MIC, Splash Guards, and Rear Locker to my Big Bend

Good luck. My neighbors next door ordered a OB In January and have a build date now. They did not order any constraints. My Black Diamond did not either and I took delivery November after the July 20 pre order.
