Two door might be a huge issue due to the hard top fiasco.
If you're not up to speed on that, you got some reading to do to catch up.

Fastest way into a Bronco, stay away from:
2dr
Lux pkg.
Tow pkg.
2.7L V6
anything MIC hard top

Possibly Sasquatch pkg.

To be clear, I am not fully up to date on the latest constraints. I got mine already. LOL

Find out what is officially listed by Ford as constrained still, but DO NOT go by those monthly reports they put out for manufacturing.

You'll be chasing a moving target with months old information if you go by those.

Pick your build and stay with it until any new info gets released.
That's like 1:1 copy of what I put in the configurator minus the Lux package lol.
I guess I'll think about making a baby so I can utilize the additional unnecessary doors.

I'll be honest with you, I was 2 door all the way until I drove the 4 door at the off-roadeo. I absolutely love my 4 door and have no regrets. I didn't care for the extra doors, but the overall cabin space works better for my overlanding plans... then I did the seks and my wife dropped some news on me a couple weeks after I got a build date... made me glad I switched :ROFLMAO:

I personally grew up in the back of a 2 door Bronco and there weren't too many issues that I remember but the 4 door will make it a little easier lol

Hi,

Even after going through 100+ posts and multiple order guides, buying this car seems so difficult than it was back in 2019.
All I had to do to buy my current Mustang, was to contact a handful of dealers to ask for a quote, and picked the one that was the best.

Unfortunately, Broncos at the local dealership lot is at least $8000 above the estimated net price shown on the Ford website, so using the same tactic from 3 years ago is no longer viable.

That left me with pressing on the "contact dealer" button at the end of Build your Bronco on Ford's website, but I wanted to make sure if this is the textbook way of buying this vehicle.

So far, I have not heard back from anybody after submitting my Bronco configuration.
Which Bronco are you looking for? It’s a wide range in price

I bought the 2dr Base as a test Bronco, since NOBODY had them when it was order time. I had no idea what I may want out of a modern Bronco, I never daily drove my 69.
But damn!! The classic body lines of the 2dr !!!

It also allows me to teach the daughter the art of shifting a manual transmission. She showed interest in that at order time 😁 .

Having had it since Oct 8th, and it was my daily until last week, living out of the 2dr on a daily basis was a bit frustratiing.
There isn't room for shit.

Next one will be 4dr.
Kicking around the idea of listing mine while the market is so stupidly high and ordering a new BD 4dr.

So, yeah ... you do you.
If you like how the Mustang works for you, I'm sure the 2dr will be no problem.

The 2dr looks down right kickass, but the 4dr is not shabby.... and it just works for ... day to day life stuff.

In the end, it's a Bronco through and through.
I'll not be ashamed , it's not an Outback after all!!!
LOL

I messaged the same associate that helped me with my current vehicle purchase, but I'll definitely show up and show them my interest. I hope I get the luck of buying one of their instocks near MSRP as well lol.
Dude - I see you are in Denver. Go see Jordan Arnesen at Freeway Ford. He’ll shoot you straight
pre-orders at MSRP. If you want it now you pay for the lack of time though, just like everywhere.

I see a lot of positive reviews of this dealership as well as the dealer of your recommendation.
In fact, I was just informed that the sales associate that helped me previously at a different location left the company.
I’m going to set up an appointment with Jordan tomorrow and see how it goes!

I’m looking to pull the trigger for a 2dr Wildtrack with 353A pkg and some more miscellaneous addons like tubstep and the towing thing but they seem to cause issues with the waiting

Yea... that's not going too work this time around. If you find one on a lot you are going to pay $$$$ for it at 95% of the lots. You are trying to buy the hardest to get auto right now. Most including myself have waited over a year and half to get their rigs, some are still waiting. Unless you get lucky and find a dealer who doesn't mark them up and they had a customer back out, well ordering is the only option. That's a whole other ordeal, you are looking at 18-24 months before taking delivery. You might get lucky and build one that gets picked sooner, a bunch have but there is a very good chance you are going to be waiting a while.

If you find a dealer who says they can get it to you in 6-8 months, they are lying to you. You might get a base model by then. Good luck, buckle up cause it's going to be a ruff ride. Oh one side note, whatever dealer you go with get it in writing that they will only charge MSRP or lower. A bunch will jack the price up the day you go get it.
Not all lines are treated the same. It comes down to constraints, dealer allocation, and getting lucky.

My build was a loaded badlands with soft top (see signature for specifics). Order 11/27/2021 with no res. I had a build week and VIN 5 weeks later.

If Ford is really producing 2500 a week now they will be mostly caught up by the end of the year. Even then, order at a large dealer and probably have it sooner.

Walking in an trying to buy one of those will be ADM’d to the extreme. Also, 2DRs will be really hard to get, simply because the original orders were something like 65-35 in favor of 4DR Soft-tops. Unfortunately, the 2DR not only got pushed aside in terms of build, but then Ford really went out of their way to push soft tops (2DR only had hard-top) on anyone who wanted their vehicles sooner.

So, that likely lowered that 35% to even smaller margins and those remaining 2DRs are likely held on fiercely by their reservation holders after the long wait, headaches, and shear stubbornness.

So, if that’s what you’re hoping for, you should probably just place an order and severely limit accessories, or weigh your options and order the most likely to be built quickest (4DR, lower model) w/idea of modifying it later, or hold out in hopes of winning the lottery.

theoretically, the Wildtrack could be closely recreated by adding SAS to just about anything
then it just comes down to interior and wheels

Tell him Shane sent you
I stop by to chat with him almost weekly
since there isn’t much else to do while I continue waiting
..548 days and counting since I reserved.

The gist is this: you’re gonna end up waiting either way, could be 5 months. Could be a year. But I’d do like others have said, find a straight shooter dealer, walk in, place an order with what you want, and sit back and forget about it. Better to get what you want and wait a while instead of skimping on stuff you want just in the hopes of getting it quicker, when in the end you’re waiting either way.

For what it’s worth, one of my close friends walked in a dealer and placed an order on 12/5/21, had a build date and vin a week later, and took delivery last week, 4 door badlands with all the sins. I placed order 1/17/22, got a vin on 1/21/22, and a build date in March. 2D Big bend, 2.7, MIC, mid pkg, tow. All things people say are delaying their order for years. My point is that there are exceptions to every trend we’ve heard about Broncos, maybe you’ll get lucky, maybe you won’t, but either way you’re waiting, so might as well pick your poison, make sure you love it, and forget about it 😊
