I like the idea, It just about to spread a little joy to people. Same thing with the wave. I was opposed about the wave but now, Jeep owner always wave me when we cross each other on the road and it make me smile every time.

Bronco has been a fun experience to me in every way. It has been the most fun car I ever had in my life because, among other things, it connects me to others in certain way.

And I agree, the hot wheels thing is cooler.

"you've been bronco'd"

If done well, with significance, it's a nice and meaningful gesture of "brotherhood".

Does nobody who has a Bronco have a motorcycle too??? Haven't heard of gremlin bells?
No and no....

Seems like most people with like vehicles wave most of the time. I have a Corvette, Mustang and newer Ram truck and get waves all the time. Never get a wave in the wife's Acadia.
I’ve gotten a couple of waves when passing by other Broncos as well as Jeep’s. I return the wave. I haven’t initiated any.

I had someone put a horse on my Bronco and I put it back on theirs and said nice Bronco. The lady was confused.

But hey, if being grumpy and overly protective over a truck floats your boat, have at it. But it's not a million dollar super car.
Funny how this tends to decribe all the Brodozer Pavement Princess owners out there.
These guys and a lot of members here, rattle off all kinds of crap about dual lockers and automatic discos, 37's, etc etc .... but freak the hell out over a rock chip (or a toy horse).

Can you imagine the whining if they actually took it offroad!
LOL

Why are people trying so hard to force this? Let the trends develop organically instead of copying a Jeep trend and adding a twist.

For me, it's not about someone touching my car or fear of damage or anything. I just think it's so incredibly lame to copy another community's traditions.

Hasn't this subject been beaten to death on a few other threads? And I thought the consensus was Bronco owners don't want to copy Jeep owners with ducks and waves.
Personally, I give a thumbs up to Jeeps just to make them wonder why.

What is so hard for folks to understand? Just leave my vehicle alone. Yes I offroad. My '75 is a survivor with all the battle scars of an off road vehicle and daily driver. Broken fiberglass flare from an interstate sideswipe by a drunk driver. Its not perfect. I don't want your made in wherever plastic toy. No I'm not an angry person; I just don't want you to touch my vehicle without permission. I own it and it's my choice. You do what you want with your vehicle.

I'm happy to talk with you about vehicles for hours on end. I wave to similar vehicles. I'll go out of my way to help if you need it (offroad recovery, etc.). I've had several vehicles that have had a bigger spotlight on them than a Bronco. None were that expensive but they were a lot more unusual. All that were able, went off road and had battle scars. I didn't appreciate folks messing with any of them. If it isn't yours and you don't have permission, hands off. Simple concept.
