I don't do the foam inserts, I probably should so wrenches and screwdrivers stop rolling when the drawer is closed...

But mine is probably just as organized with the exception of two drawers - hammers and air tools, and that's just because they're so tightly packed there'd be no room for foam anyway. Sockets are all on rails or in holders, wrenches are laid out numerically, screwdrivers and nut drivers arranged properly...drawers are labeled with what is IN each drawer...Outside of the box is grubby grubby, inside looks showroom clean.

Got some new tools yesterday from grip edge. Between our trucks covered in torx plus and how many aftermarket solutions utilize hex fasteners I splurged and got these new tools. Their purchase in hex and torx plus fasteners is great. Project Farm and Torque Test Channel on YouTube sold me also.

I’m also a sucker for EVA foam organization to keep things efficient.

Foam admittedly isn’t the most space efficient. Rails and socket stands give you more tools per drawer.

Also grip edge does a quarterly series of specials, so one of those trays was ‘free’ but they aren’t cheap.

They are on par with Mac because these guys built the RBRT tech. Project Farm and The Torque Test Channel all have shows gripedge are super effective.

Foam also will tend to hold on to moisture, so if you put your tools away wet from working in the rain or on a coolant system, it'll tend to accelerate the rust. Or if your garage happens to be in the great white north with no insulation or heat, you could end up with them frozen into your foam.

It looks great in theory, but make sure you put them away clean and dry.

My tools are scattered everywhere. I have to spend at least an hour every month in my garage rummaging the tool box just committing to memory where everything is. That, and beer.
The beer is the only thing in my garage that I know EXACTLY where it is!!

I like the Olsa socket organizers and they're magnetic. Now, I think they've been copied by enough other companies they're pretty cheap. I wish they had one for drill bits.
