I have a new 2024 HPR BD V6. I want to upgrade to a fuel hype 17x8.5 +10 with Toyo OC3 35x11.5x17. This is a mall crawler, with no intention of leveling or lift. After reading a lot of the members' upgrade combinations, it appeared that removal of the crash bars would be the only requirement to make my combination work. However, a rep from a well known tire vendor expressed some concern that my combination might not work without at least a leveling kit. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Many BD owners have jumped to 35s w/o any type of lift. With the +10 wheel offset just remove the crash bars and your good to go. Also, going w/ the 11.50 width is a good call IMO, saves a bit on weight.

QPWillette, thanks for the confirmation. The rep appeared to be knowledgeable and well informed, and even went so far as to do some checking, then called me back, still not positive it would work. His concerns contradicted the virtually unanimous consensus of the plethora of guys here on 6g that have done it successfully, but it made pause long enough to get validation from a few of you.
