MI've spent a few hours this week looking for the same thing, without much success.
I'm leaning towards getting this 6-circuit 30A Blue Sea Systems terminal block and a weatherproof box that fits.

I've looked too... kind of surprising that there is nothing slick for this. I've used a lot of Blue Sea stuff, but on boats. I used that part on a downrigger setup I put together. No issues, but you'll need some kind of enclosure for under the hood. You would think there would be a weatherproof connection system that does not require you to destroy (shorten) the wires.I've spent a few hours this week looking for the same thing, without much success.
