I just finished installing my Fog Pocket and Rear Bumper lamps from 4x4TruckLEDs. Went with Baja Designs across the board. The harnesses and brackets from 4x4TruckLEDs made the install pretty easy -- even with temperatures in the 20Fs. No, I don't work for 4x4TruckLEDs, nor am I affiliated with them except being a customer. Right now I'm controlling each of the fog lamps with independent switches. A fourth upfitter switch for the rear. Both pair of Squadrons in the front fog kit are SAE/street legal. S2 Sports are not. I haven't connected the rear lamps to the factory backups yet (wired 'or' with diode)... not sure I want to, but it's an easy tweak if I decide to do it.

Have you labeled the switches? I've be confused which switch was turning on which light, lol.

I'm getting mine installed shortly. I was thinking of having my Amber SAE fog lights on one, and the other two on one.

I dig the rear bumper lights. Been thinking about red ones for bad weather, and down low like that should work nicely.... wondering @Diode Dynamics has something. Haven't really searched it out....and easy to mount and wire for us non-mechanicals....would be nice to just add into fog lamps wired to the Aux switch together...

No, I haven't. Inner lamp is 1 (Amber SAE), middle is 2 (White SAE), outer lamp (White Sport S2) is 3. The rears are on 4. It's pretty easy to move them around if I want or need to. I've been wondering if there is a good marine grade/underhood junction block for the upfitter wires. Seems it would be good to have.

It would be super easy to combine the rear lights with a fog light switch. Not sure that the rears are street legal. My main reason for the rear is for when I'm at the boat launch at 4AM. But I it would be good for added visibility/safety in certain conditions.

Figured you to be a fisherman! Or duck hunter.... Good point on street legal, but if they're red...?

Did you go with SPORTSMEN, PRO, CLEAR SAE, or AMBER SAE? Vendors sure don't make it clear as to what you are getting on these.

Looks good. I like that you went with some road legal lighting on the setup.

The Fog pocket kit from 4x4TruckLEDs lets you choose what 3 lamps you want. You can choose any combination of Squadron or S2, e.g. 3 Squadron or 3 S2s. If I recall correctly, you can even choose between vendors (BD or DD) on the 4x4TruckLED site. I chose:

1/ Baja Design Squadron SAE, Wide Cornering, Amber
2/ Baja Design Squadron SAE, Wide Cornering
3/ Baja Design S2 Sport, Driving/Combo

I think the only special thing about SAE lamp is the lens. It is partially shaded to impact the light pattern. As I understand it, these lights are street legal. But in my set up, I'm not sure whether or not I can have both of the Squadron SAEs on simultaneously.

I'm not sure. But I'm pretty sure you can buy different lenses from Baja Designs... probably DD too.

I am still confused as I don't see that on their site, I just see SPORTSMEN, PRO, CLEAR SAE, or AMBER SAE. You mention 3 Squadron or 3 S2's. I see two of one light and 1 of the other. This is the main reason I have not bought them. I really like how they look though. They just won't be taking my money until they give a better description as to what you are getting.

Hmm... I purchased them back on Cyber Monday and recall being able to select each of the 3 lights. Note that I ordered the 4x4TruckLED pocket kit, not the BD or DD pocket kits. I have the KR bracket that comes with 4x4TruckLED pocket kit. I think you can even mix/match between BD and DD with the 4x4TruckLED solution. The 4x4TruckLED guys are all over this site. I'm sure they can help you. They helped me.

You are getting whatever you pick. We let YOU, the customer, choose what lights YOU want. It's part of our "Build Your Own Kit" system we call it. You get the brackets, harness, instructions and then you get to choose 3 different lights in whatever pattern/light output you want. We go over, on our site, the various options and some recommendations as well:
