I can answer that: it’s equally awesome to be able to take the top off and not have to store it anywhere. I live in San Diego where it’s 72 and sunny nine months out of the year so perhaps I’m biased

Well, it's 37 degrees outside this morning and we've had record rainfall so far this winter. I certainly wouldn't want to live without the hard top here. YMMV.

I’ve had a soft top for a year and will be taking delivery of my hard top build in April (hopefully) I’m already getting nervous about the lack of functionality with the hard top. I routinely pop the top back to position 1 on medium cold but sunny days for the drive. I’m worried how sad I’ll be when I lose that 3 second open and close ability. I’ve thought about sunrider which I’ll probably do but then I only get one row. The two row sunrider apparently is difficult to remove completely so some consider it a semi permanent mod. But the hard top looks better

I also live in Oregon (average 50” of rain a season) and snowboard on mount hood every winter weekend. Not a single drop of water inside and I’m pretty sure a soft top will be warmer than a hard top (which I haven’t noticed to be ANY colder than a 2019 grand Cherokee summit). I’d imagine a high quality fabric jacket to be warmer than a plastic jacket. No wiper and defroster sucks less than I thought it would and honestly isn’t a reason I want to switch over. It’s strictly looks for me and the ease of taking the rear cap off (68 pounds) without damaging your roll bars as opposed to removing the soft top entirely (112lbs and a super awkward angle)
I didn't say it was a constraint number, I said that it was the remaining unfilled order percentage split between hardtop and softtop (94/6).
Do I know if it is accurate, no, I am assuming that the source of the information can read.

Sunrider still works on a 4-door Bronco though. Screw the people in the backseat lol.
For those of you with a hardtop (or waiting), how much $ would it take for you to sell/trade your hardtop? I have a hardtop ordered, but I want to end up with a soft top.
Do ya'll think anyone would be interested in a trade if the ask was soft top +3-4k or something? I feel like that sounds steep, but for anyone that took the $2500 to swap MIC to soft top, I think they could trade soft top + 3k for a MIC top and come out ahead.

I never have rear seat passengers but they’re not the reason I want the 2nd row open air, it’s because it’s a way better experience even in the front seat to have both rows open air especially with no rollbar blocking your view. But the 2 row sunrider I hear is not easy to remove completely at all and I want to take my back cap off whenever possible. Basically in Oregon from march through June I flip my soft top to position 1 whenever it’s above 60 degrees. Once it gets into summer I take the top off completely and run topless for as many days as I can. Last summer it was nearly 3 months without rain
Ford needs to offer a $695 hardtop delete option for the 2 door Bronco. I am sure that I would take them up on the option.

Then you don’t get any top. Seems foolish unless you live in a biosphere or underground.
2 row Sunrider = Skyrider. And I can verify a Sunrider makes zero sense on a 4 door when the Skyrider now exists. A true open air experience, we love it.
If your just taking the Skyrider off to run completely topless, its only 9 bolts. Cant imagine its any more of a hassle than taking a softtop off which doesnt look fun. Both would require two people.
If you want to switch back and forth to hardtop panels and Skyrider, thats when it becomes a bit of a hassle, replacing brackets on the roll bar and clamshell.
